Sorry, this may be too much for some, but here is a close up of his pump right before they insert the needle and medication. We had a pretty big scare with him..... he was scheduled for a pump refill on Monday, but went through a major withdrawal on Friday night. Once we figured out what was wrong and we gave him the Oral Baclofen he settled down. That is when we took him to Primary Children's and checked if everything was correctly attached and then refilled him. Normally, there is a little bit of leftover medication left in his pump, this time there was none and we were only 3 days from his alarm date. We have scheduled him 2 weeks in advance for his next one and hope he never has to experience that again. It makes us very grateful to be so close to the hospital for moments like these.
