Park City Get A Way!

We tagged along with the Carley's up to Park City on Saturday for what we didn't know was going to be quite an adventerous day! We had a few good hours of going on the Alpine Slide with the kids. Dakota was able to go by himself and we were able to pass Nash as 2 years old so he rode down with me and Bridger with Matt. We were able to go down several times. The boys had a ball! Then Greg and Amber went and did the Zip Line first. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get any pictures to prove it. But yes, Amber did it! (she basically didn't have a choice) Then, Ashlynn, Dakota and Bridger did some jumps on the tramps while Matt and I headed up for the Zip Line. I guess Bridge was doing some back and front flips. Crazy kid! Then we decided to head in to a restaurant for a late lunch and early dinner. Little did we know that when we came out that we would be hit with a rain storm. We watched the place clear out pretty quickly and thinking to ourselves "what idiots, this is going to pass in no time". So, we hung around for a little while and it did clear out. Danget, we were going to get our monies worth. We were just waiting for them to start opening things back up again and laughing at all the poor suckers who got stranded up the mountain and had to walk back down. Well, we kept waiting thinking for sure that it was going to open and minute and we were going to be the lucky ones who would have the place basically to ourselves. Next thing we know we are getting a down pour. Whose the idiots now? Yes, that would be us! It did not stop!!! We stood under the chair lift for a little while and finally made a run for the closest building. Waited there for a while and finally figured that it was not going to let up and we had no choice but to run to the vehicles. I think the kids thought that was the best part of the whole day! Especially Nash, who loves water. I think he thought it was a sprinkler going. Anyway, to say the least, it was a great day! And how much better can it get than to meet at Little America for the Sunday Brunch the following day! Nope, it doesn't get any better than that! Thanks Carley's for a great weekend!!!
